Learning & Development

At Saint Peter’s Healthcare System, we foster a culture of learning by providing employees with opportunities for continued development through on-demand learning experiences and tuition support.

  • Career Development & Leaning Management System (LMS): Cornerstone On-Demand is our learning and performance management system. With Cornerstone, employees have access to compliance training, on-demand learning, development plans, and much more!
  • Tuition Assistance Program: Saint Peter’s encourages employees to continue their formal education through accredited degree and professional certification programs. Saint Peter’s provides financial assistance for courses and professional examinations pertinent to healthcare industry/job related positions. All full-time employees and part-time employees who have completed six months of service prior to the start of a course of study and are regularly scheduled to work a minimum of 40 hours per two-week pay period are eligible for tuition assistance. Employees are eligible to receive reimbursement for up to a maximum of $5,250.00 for undergraduate and $7,460.00 for graduate studies per calendar year. For more information about the tuition assistance program, current employees can review the Tuition Assistance Policy on the Intranet site.
  • Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program: Saint Peter’s is a non-profit organization, which means we are a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.
  • Clinical Certification Pay: We encourage you to become an expert in your field by supporting specialty clinical certifications. Over 70% of Saint Peter’s nurses have a clinical certification.
