Lung Patient Navigator Hero

Lung Patient Navigator

Meet our Lung Navigator

A patient navigator is a medical professional whose clinical expertise and training guides patients and their caregivers to make informed decisions. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to allow for timely cancer screening, diagnosis, treatment, and increased supportive care across the cancer continuum.

Your lung health program navigator is dedicated to addressing any barriers to care you may face and assisting you in navigating your way through the healthcare system. The navigator will become a part of your support system, whether you are being screened for cancer or if you have a diagnosis of cancer. Your navigator is here to:

        - Connect you to community resources
        - Make appointments with your providers
        - Help with insurance issues such as prior authorizations for tests or imaging
        - Assist in arranging transportation to and from appointments
        - Coordinate social work services
        - Educate you, advocate for you, and support you
        - Answer any questions you may have
